Rabi Akiva - yurzeit Yom Kipur: עברית / English / Português.

רבי עקיבא (בן יוסף) מת אל קידוש השם בקיסריה, 135 (או 123). נולד בשנת 50 לספירה, קיבל את רוב תורתו מרבי אליעזר הגדול. רבי עקיבא היה אחד מארבעה התנאים שנכנסו לפרדס. האחרים היו בן עזאי, בן זומא ואחר [אלישע בן אבויה]. על פי כמה, רבי עקיבא היה העוקץ של ספר יצירה.

o maior Sabio do Talmud

           Rabi Akiva (ben Yosef) died al kiddush Hashem in Caesaria, 135 (or 123). Born ~50 CE, he received most of his teaching from Rabbi Eliezer HaGadol. Rabbi Akiva was one of four Tannaim who entered the Pardes. The others were Ben Azzai, Ben Zoma, and Acher [Elisha ben Avuya]. According to some, Rabbi Akiva was the redactor of the Sefer Yetzira. 

Rabi Akiva (ben Yosef) morreu al kidush Hashem (honrando o Nome de D-us) em Cesaria, 135 (ou 123). Nascido em 50 EC, recebeu a maior parte de seu ensinamento do rabino Eliezer HaGadol. 
Rabi Akiva foi um dos quatro Tanaim que entraram no Pardes (Segredos da Cabalá). 
Os outros eram Ben Azzai, Ben Zoma e Acher [Elisha ben Avuya]. 
Segundo alguns, o rabino Akiva foi o redator do Sefer Yetzira, associado a Abrahão, o Patriarca.
